Victor Abalos has spent his entire professional life helping people tell their stories.

He spent two decades as a journalist working in Central America covering the wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua then working as a national affairs producer for CBS News, ABC News, Fox News and the MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour.

He has worked for several LA-based production companies traveling to three continents to produce and direct segments aired on Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, MTV, Fox, CBS and ABC Networks.

Subsequently, he launched a communications company that has provided strategic support and content production for both private and public sector clients.

He recently launched the Next American Media Makers, an organization dedicated to training the next generation of storytellers – digital journalists, content producers and other media makers.
